About Us
WALK Training is a new online learning platform developed by WALK, a charity that provides education, training and employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities and autism.
At WALK we believe that everyone who wants to work, have a job, and develop a career can do so, given the right supports. Our role is to facilitate individuals to fulfil their employment and career aspirations. We do this by supporting them to realise their potential, access opportunities and build their own natural supports in their own communities.
We have developed a range of innovative supported employment and training programmes, aimed at increasing the rate of employment of people with intellectual disabilities and autism.
Our services are delivered to students, educators and employers in Dublin and Louth. Our ambitions are that these training programmes become the gold standard nationally for breaking down barriers, promoting inclusivity and fostering diversity across all sectors of industry in Ireland.
